At Circular Project, we are passionate about creating healthier places to live and work that are more economical to run and better for our planet. We want our children and theirs to enjoy their homes and our beautiful, natural environment.

Too many Kiwi homes are cold and damp in winter, too hot in summer and cause families health issues and financial strain. Some of our indoor air quality is (according to official sources) up to ten times worse than our urban air. At the same time, we need to reduce landfill and CO2 emissions in the construction sector. The way New Zealand homes are designed and built needs to change; this is why we started our social enterprise.

We believe there are sustainable solutions for every budget. You just have to know where to find them and which options will work best for your particular projects.

About me

Hi, I'm Michael. I am an energy auditor, architectural technician and passive house consultant with a passion for healthy buildings.

Healthy to me is healthy for the occupants, healthy for the people creating the products, healthy for the installers and healthy for the planet when the product has fulfilled its' lifespan.

My specialty is in heating, water heating, energy creation, energy efficiency and healthy building options. I believe that we should make decisions based on facts, which is why I do a lot of research in order to help others make informed choices.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and child cycling, walking, reading, building furniture. Lately I am trying to learn how to draw and climb boulders.
